I’m Annie Paola, a Honduran artist.

About Me

I was born and raised in Honduras, where I spent my first 19 years before venturing to Italy to study International Relations and Legal Studies. But beyond my studies, my life has truly been shaped by art.

I consider myself an artist in progress, someone who has gradually nurtured a deep passion for painting and creating. Since childhood, I discovered that painting was my way of releasing feelings and thoughts—a personal language made of brushes and colors.

When I moved to Italy, this passion transformed into discipline: I began taking courses in advanced painting, printmaking, and painterly prints, exploring different techniques and discovering new ways of translating what I carry within onto the canvas.

Today at 23 years old, my work continues to be that intimate space where emotions, experimentation, and personal growth intertwine. Each piece is both a reflection of my process and an invitation for others to find a small part of themselves in my colors, textures, and forms.

I’ve found a lot of pleasure in printmaking, especially in the way it invites experimentation. Each print becomes a playground for exploring different forms, textures, and colors. Once I’ve completed a layout, I rarely consider it finished — I return to it, adding new layers with a brush or other tools. This ongoing process of building, altering, and responding to the image keeps the work alive and open.
